Overall, property and the hosts were good, with several issues (noted below) that future guests should know before renting.  The property is beautiful and clean. Neighborhood is very nice and walkable with restaurants and groceries very close. Communication with the hosts was generally good as well. AC did not work. Host came to repair it but it still didn't work. Past reviews also said AC wasn't working, so we don't know if it broke again or was never fixed. Temp inside (nearly 85F) was much warmer than outside. Very uncomfortable, even at night. Hosts did get us fans, which helped some. Unit does have a parking spot, but five levels down a narrow circular driveway. Good only for small cars and/or excellent drivers. We parked there once then found metered street parking for the rest of our stay. Several things (kitchen faucet, bathroom drawers) were loose/broken. Earlier reviews said the same. Seems like some simple maintenance is getting overlooked.

Attractive apartment well appointed. Contemporary neighborhood. Walkable. Lots of local amenities. 10 minutes from the airport which was great for an early morning flight . * Apartment had weak air conditioning and it was very warm inside. Fan was provided and gave some relief. We were not really able open the windows at night because street noice was quite loud. So if you are sensitive to heat or are staying during a very hot season, this may not be the best place for you.

This is a beautiful apartment. Couple of small issues the shower was broken on the wall so you had to hand hold it to take a shower, not an issue for me but was for my husband. We noted someone on a previous booking had advised it was broken so this hadn’t been repaired. The sink in the main bathroom was slow to drain which was another issue noted in a previous booking. We didn’t raise this during our stay as we doubted either would be fixed in time and they were not major hopefully will be rectified soon. Our other issue (but probably wouldn’t be for other guests) was the ineffectiveness of the Airconditioning. This is a priority for us and we only stay in accommodation with Airconditioning. Unfortunately it was unbearable for us as it was still quite hot in Lisbon when we were there and a very hot apartment. Our host tried to make it cooler to no avail. Eventually I asked for a fan and he provided one which was a huge relief. I would stay there again but in cooler months
