We enjoyed our time at Winter is Coming. It was comfortable, kid and pet friendly, and the indoor hot tub was convenient.

Chris’s place was just what our family was looking for to get away for a long weekend to adventure around Deep Creek! He was very communicative, accommodating and offered some suggestions for local places to eat and things to do. After hiking, the hot tub was a treat and we enjoyed playing the retro arcade games…bringing back childhood memories! Lots of great hiking around the area, the neighborhood is quiet and secluded, yet close enough to the main road to find something to eat, shop, etc. - note we were there during the “off season” but surely it gets busy during the summer! Some suggestions that we enjoyed during our 1st visit to the area, exploring & hiking at Swallow Falls State Park, pizza at Brenda’s, shopping at High Mountain Sports & The Tourist Trap, coffee & breakfast at Trader’s Coffee House and Dinner at Ace’s Restaurant & Pub. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Chris place was amazing! Very peaceful, matched the exact description, and overall relaxing! Will definitely be back in the fall! Highly recommend it.

Chris' has a beautiful place very close to Deep Creek Lake. Four different beds, 3 full bathrooms, hot tub and balcony. Everything looks as advertised and it was a great stay.
