The loft was airy and beautifully situated with birds to watch by day and fireflies by night. When the sky was clear we could see right across the lake. Every sunset was uniquely beautiful. We enjoyed walking from the loft to Pana as well as to the vibrantly coloured village of Santa Catarina Palopo. We loved coming back to the loft after our days of adventure and learning about the rich history of Lake Atitlan to devour the fruit we'd bought in town and relax in the hot tub. Miguel, the caretaker, was extremely thoughtful and easy to communicate with. We found the beds comfy and the bedding clean and nice... all in all, a great place to stay.

The apartment is gorgeous and really well laid out. However, the location is right off a busy road and is remote from nearby restaurants/bars so requires tuk tuks to get everywhere and coordination with the property manager. There is a lot of construction happening around the property so we didn’t feel comfortable using the hot tub.

This is a good stay if you are looking to explore the surrounding villages of Lake Atitlan. We really enjoyed having coffee out on the porch overlooking the lake. The AirBnB is actually better than the listed photos as the two rooms were more private than anticipated. The photos showed a curtain divider but there were actually doors truly making it feel like separate rooms. The AirBnB was a little difficult to locate as you can easily drive past it on the main road but coordinating with the local property manager helped us find it pretty easily. If you don't have wifi or local cell service during your drive then it might be more difficult since you can't get in touch. Parking is tight and close to the road. The property manager was helpful in arranging TukTuks and a private boat for my group, however, there is no doubt you can find cheaper options yourself. The BnB is about a 15min TukTuk ride to Panajachel. You are on a main road so would recommend driving or TukTuks to get around.
