Caroline is such a great host. I really enjoyed my conversations with her. She made my stay very smooth by showing me around the house when I arrived. She made sure to help me with anything I needed. The room is very clean and cozy. There is also laundry in the house which is very handy. Her house is in a safe neighborhood, and is very close to public transportation, Walmart, restaurants, and other shops. It’s also very close to Loyola! Overall I am very happy with my stay. Totally recommended. Thanks Caroline!

Caroline went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok with me as a guest. Prime example: one night, I realized I had made a mistake while ordering something online, and got delivered to the same street and number, but in a neighborhood about 3 miles north. Caroline quite gently offered me a ride in her car at 11 PM, and we were able to recover the parcel. She makes sure that the room you rent is pristine. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet, there are two supermarkets and a small food market nearby, the nearest bus stops are 5 and 12 minutes away, and the train station that goes to downtown Chicago is 15 minutes away. Be sure to read all the information and house rules she publishes. None of it is unreasonable, and you will know upfront what she expects from her guests. Remember, you are sharing her house, it´s not a hotel. If anything isn´t covered there, communication is the key and she is always willing to listen.
