Kato Dool is absolutely picturesque. It's views are unparrelled in Aswan. The staff are amazing, incredibly welcoming, friendly and kind, they did all they could to make our stay memorable. Special mention to the two lovely reception staff Sara and Nirvana who went over and above to help. Everything was as per the photographs and our rooms beautifully decorated. The evening meals at Kato Dool are delicious and well presented. Whilst we were staying, there was a surprise birthday party for the owners father to which all the guests were invited as well and treated as family which was lovely. The hosts mother makes the best mango cake ever! At present the road leading to Kato Dool is pretty much a dirt track but they are working on that, once it's finished it will be a much easier journey to and fro the town.

Nous vous recommandons sans hésiter le Kato Dool Wellness Resort. L’hotel étant un peu éloigné de l’agitation de la ville et placé sur les hauteurs d’Assouan, la vue est absolument magnifique! Les chambres sont très confortable, avec un balcon vue sur le Nil à couper le souffle. Le personnel est super et au petit soin des clients pour toutes les demandes (organisation des trajets en taxi ou tuk tuk, réservations de restaurant, visite etc). Pour nous c’était vraiment l’hôtel idéal pour 2 jour à Assouan!

This place is equisite and unlike any place in Nubia. It's High up on a Dune above the Village. It was a little mystery getting there but once we arrived it was majestic! Very high up so it has incredible sunsets and sunrises. Great all around! Very quiet and perfect for hosting my Priestess Activation for 2 days. We loved it!

My husband and I had a very relaxing time before the start of our Nile cruise. A car was arranged to get us from the airport. Definitely have them do that. It’s not in the Nubian Village anymore and is more difficult to locate. The food was fantastic. We ate out on the patio overlooking the Nile every night. The view was the best! You won’t find any better. The staff was friendly and super helpful. The grounds are breathtaking! The architecture, woodwork and Nubian touches make it a very unique experience. The Nile is straight down the mountain. You aren’t able to walk there. They offer other activities you can choose from. There is no air conditioning or fans in the rooms currently. We were told they are being installed at some point. It was very hot at night not having any air flow. We wanted to see the Unfinished Obelisk and the Nubian Museum and the manager arrange our transportation. There was a nice breeze during the day. We highly recommend.
