Having spent four Nights at Marsh cottage I was blown away with the location and the cottage it's such a peaceful and Beautiful place very clean with everything you need for you stay and such a lovely garden offering nice views,There are lots of lovely walks around the Nature reserve from the moment you step outside your front door blessed with lots of local wildlife,I enjoy doing wildlife photography so I was in my element,Norwich is just a short drive so would recommend visiting plenty of shops and architecture lots of supermarkets to stock up aswell,Would recommend going to coldham hall tavern such a nice pub on the broads equally as nice to the ferry inn,I highly recommend staying here I just wish I could have stayed longer or forever.
Our first time at Marsh cottage. a wonderful spot, peaceful and full of nature. Great for walks, bird spotting. The views were fantastic. Great secure garden for our dog. The cottage was warm and cosy with a very comfortable bed. We slept very well. Check in was very easy and we were left in peace to enjoy this beautiful place. I can't wait to come back Thank you Pip.
This place was just what I was looking for-the surroundings are beautiful and the cottage so peaceful. I worked in the mornings and walked in the afternoons—I went to Wheatfen Nature Reserve as suggested—it was idilic. Thank you!
Great little cottage on the edge of the marshes. We picked a cold weekend in April, but the cottage was cosy as well as quiet. Great walks from the front door, and easy access to Norwich and the rest of Norfolk. Perfect!
This is a magical place: incredibly peaceful, with beautiful surroundings. It was a privilege to be able to stay right next to the protected marsh, under the vast Norfolk sky. During my stay the weather was as changeable as it could possibly be (sun, rain, gusty wind, lightning, thunder, hail) but this only made the marsh and the sky more impressive. It also meant I could hunker down in the cosy cottage with a book and a glass of wine, and relax. Pip was really friendly and offered me advice when I asked for it but like all the best hosts she also let me be. I very hope to return to Marsh Cottage again - it's good for the soul.

I am a teacher, married with a daughter. We live on a farm in a beautiful part of Norfolk very close to the city of Norwich. I feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of Norfolk and I love walking our two dogs by the river . We keep our own sheep, cows and chickens.
