Issa’s apartment is an excellent place to stay when visiting Bethlehem, and one of the best I have ever stayed in. He’s a very responsive and committed host. The listing is as described, and he is extremely helpful with directions to the house. He recommended local restaurants, drew maps and gave direction to attractions, and provided eggs bread, milk and cereal in the morning for breakfast. Check-in was very straight-forward and he is always available for any questions and communication. The apartment was not booked the following day so he allowed us to stay for a few hours after the official checkout time while we explored Bethlehem more, which we are very appreciative of. The location is a 10-15 minute walk from Manger Square and 20-25 minute walk (10 minute by taxi) from the end of the bus route from Damascus Gate.

Issa war ein sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber und hat immer schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich! Zu Unternehmungen / Märkten / Restaurants in der Umgebung hat Er uns sehr gut beraten und auch bei der Abreise und Organisation von Transporten unterstützt. Zukünftig gern wieder!

EXCELLENT 5/5 This was our best Airbnb experience so far. Issa is a wonderful host. He brought us fresh bread every morning and gave us recommendations and indications on how to reach sites (even drew a map for the guests), and was very kind and welcoming in general. the apartment is great, has a fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, spacious and comfy living room, and a veranda. The apartment really has everything and makes you feel right at home. Wifi and hot water worked great, tap water is filtered and drinkable. The apartment is in walking distance to the nativity church and the touristic centre, but also in walking distance of the pubs and restaurants in Beit Sahour. (we recommend Al-Jisr, Il Forno and Nativity Beer) There is a supermarket, butcher, and produce vendor around the corner in case you want to cook. The apartment is sort of in a cave which makes it very temperate even when it is very hot outside.
