WOW .. so glad i stumbled on this hidden gem . Very Clean.,Very Quiet,Very Efficient and Very Swiss .This tiny place had everything looks much better than the photos and washer and dryer access on Saturday Laufenberg is tiny and much closer to Basel then Zurich( Basel is a 25 minute train ride as opposed to 1 hour + to Zurich ) studio is Located on the first floor in an apartment building has a balcony with chairs and table but little privacy when the window is open ( there are electric blinds for privacy however this will block the view outside) 30 second walk to train station or building containing coop supermarket doctors offices and pharmacy also you can walk 15-25 Minutes to the German side where you will have access to the german rail network and a cheaper larger grocery store. Also the last Swiss train to and from Basel is 8-10pm depending on the day of the week the german side trains run later ( until around 1am) so keep this in mind . Great Deal and Great Stay. Great location, very close to coop and train station (3min walk). Clean. Self check-in lockbox is high-tech.
