位置非常好，步行去皇宫只需要五分钟，房子的灯直到走也没弄明白怎么全开，因为楼下是通往皇宫的必经之路，会有点吵，其他都很好。

Our stay in Palacio 1 was very nice: a good location because we could reach by metro all the places of Madrid we liked to visit. Check in and check out perfect: the host was immediately in the appartment when we arrived and when we left. We appreciate that we could leave the luggage till 3PM, because our flight home was in the evening. Amazing how everything, even in the smaller bathroom, is available.

The apartment is just as beautiful as the photos and the location is perfect! There is a great bakery downstairs as well which is perfect for breakfast or an afternoon snack. If you are a light sleeper and sleeping in the front bedroom I recommend ear plugs, it can get very noisy at night as the apartment is directly across from the Opera metro station and square. The apartment did not have much in the way of extra touches. All the Airbnb's I have stayed in through the years often leave something to make their guests feel at home. City guides, maps, bottle of wine, some local treats, etc. but this apartment had nothing. They did provide us with milk for my son as I had emailed in advance and asked for it. There is a shampoo/ body wash dispenser in the shower but that is about it for extra touches. we had to buy extra toilet paper, paper towels, additional trash bags, hand soap, etc. Also the listing advertised a washing machine but the person who checked us in to the unit had no idea how to use it and there was no detergent for us to use either. So sadly we could not wash any clothes which is tough with a toddler! Lastly the bathroom in the front bedroom has some serious plumbing issues. We noticed the smell when we first arrived but it got progressively worse as the week went on. It got even worse every time you flushed the toilet. To the point where the entire living room smelled of raw sewage if the door was open. My poor mom had to keep the door shut at all times and had to hold her nose when she showered or went to the bathroom. I emailed the host to ask if anything could do be done about it and he completely ignored my message. It was a bit upsetting but we still managed to enjoy ourselves. Like I said the apartment is stunning and the location can't be beat! If the bathroom gets fixed I would consider staying there again.
