Sandra, Carlos and staff were all extremely helpful and nice. Beautiful accommodations and surroundings. We really enjoyed ourselves and will miss the peaceful ambiance. We really enjoyed ourselves. Loved it!

Had a wonderful quiet stay. As described, away from the crowds and bustle. Perfect for those wanting to be “away” in a serene, quiet place off the beaten track. Sandra and Carlos are great hosts.

This place as one of the prettiest views. We had a great time having breakfast on the balcony and watching the whales or sunset. This place is located in a very interesting development. We ended up renting a car and drive from PV airport and never used it while we stayed. We walked to Chacala (45 min) and would walk to the beach (30 min). We did a big shopping of food at Walmart before hand and ate 90% of our meals in the airbnb. The dirt road to the condo is bumpy so the idea off leaving felt like a schelp when we could just enjoy all the natural beauty of the jungle and water. The apt had a beautiful airflow so we kept the screen door open all night and day instead of using AC. We did get some outside bugs, but that is a reminder we are in the jungle. The staff was vey kind and helpful. The property has a great pool, mini gym and pickle ball court. We did try to work remote which was ok. The internet wasn't strong enough for 2 zoom calls, but worked ok for one. Overall great stay!

La estancia en Vista Encantada fue increíble... Sandra estuvo al pendiente en todo momento. El lugar está muy limpio y tiene buenas instalaciones. Cumple con lo prometido, está igual de bonito que en la fotos. El personal muy amable. Tiene una playa virgen a 15 minutos caminando, te sientes en el paraíso!! Definitivamente regresaré :) El lugar está hermoso!!

If you are looking for a tranquil stay on the Nayarit coast, nestled between the forest and a guánabana orchard with stunning ocean views, gorgeous sunsets and almost daily sightings of whale migrations (pack binoculars!) during the seasons: this is your place! The rooms are well-appointed, with one and a half bath, king-size bed and a kitchen which is important because there is no restaurant nor access to food onsite. This location works best if you have your own rental car or only plan to leave the grounds occasionally. (There are two cars for rent onsite but are shared among all the guests. Cars are booked on popular days like market day in La Peiñita, so if having wheels reliably available is important to you, plan on renting your own car.) The nearest town is Chacala. It's a beautiful 45 minute one-way walk through the orchard, over the volcano's caldera, and through the forest. Bring Keen's or lightweight hiking shoes, hat and sunscreen for this strenuous walk. Chacala has whale-watching tours; SUP, kayak, and beach umbrella rentals, a place to get rooftop, oceanfront massages and mani-pedis (Reina at Hotel Las Brisas is wonderful!), restaurants, small fruit and veggie stands, and a new (02/22) grocery store. If you want more variety you'll want to shop in Buceríos or Puerta Vallarta (60-90 minutes away one-way). Playa Divisadero is the closest beach. It's not uncommon to have this beach to yourself, especially during the week or in the mornings. It's perfect for swimming and about a 30-minute downhill (and longer uphill to return!) walk. There are no facilities so you'll need to bring everything with you. The pool has an awesome wading area and other sitting areas for hanging out and relaxing with an unobstructed view of the ocean. The only hot water is for the shower (no hot water in any of the sinks, including the kitchen) and drinking water is available onsite. If you want a quiet retreat, which is exactly what I was looking for, then you will love Vista Encantada!
