We're happy to share with you our Costa Maya family vacation house. Here we have enjoyed unforgettable vacations with our kids...countless day trips to the nearby Mayan ancient ruins, fishing trips, snorkeling and scuba diving in the amazing coral reef, the enigmatic Laguna de Bacalar, swimming at the Cenote Azul, etc. Our house is in the Mahahual area known as "Casitas"... restaurants, coffee shops, bakery, laundry, atm, internet cafe, pharmacy, medical center and small stores are all nearby. Casita Sac-Nicté has a very good vibe. It's clean and comfortable and has everything you will need...it can accomodate six adults. The house is very secure and in a very quiet and safe area that is continuously patrolled by local police. The beach is 400 mts (10 min walk or 5 min bike) from the house. It's location is one of the most convenient places from which to base your experience in Mahahual. There's a/c in the living room and in the master bedroom and there are ceiling fans throughout the house. Depending on the season you may or may not need to use the a/c since opening the windows will allow the fresh air inside the house. There are screens on all the windows to keep insects away. There is a private porch (palapa) with garden located off the kitchen where you can relax and enjoy the sounds of exotic birds and the tropical forest. It's the perfect place after a day at the beach.....

Mahahual is still a wonderfull and peacefull place to be on vacation. Blanca's and Ivan's Casita is a very welcoming and well placed lovely house with almost everything you need in, or a few meters in town , like for exemples shops, restaurants , beach (most important ^^) and a laundry. They are very welcoming , and Roberto ,the manager is too. Ask him for good tips and things to know or anything relative to the casita . He'll respond quickly. We realy enjoyed coming back to Mahahual for all those years , and we'll certainly come back next year !! Thank you and see you soon !

Très joli maison. De l’espace et super bien équipé . Voiture facile à garer également. Blanca et Ivan on été très réactif pour nous accueillir dans les meilleures conditions, et le prix est vraiment friendly par rapport à la maison . 2 bémols cependant, beaucoup de chiens dans le voisinage immédiat, qui ont aboyé un peu toutes les nuits donc assez désagréable (nos hôtes n’y peuvent rien mais c’est à noter ), et d’autres parts, nous n’avons eu de l’eau chaude qu’une seule fois sur les 3 jours. Le chauffe eau ne se déclenchait pas , il fallait manipuler, ouvrier tel robinet, débrancher, rebrancher …. Bref, nous n’y sommes pas parvenu et le propriétaire ne nous a plus trop répondu passé un moment . Heureusement qu’il fait chaud au Mexique et les douches froides ne sont pas si horribles

La casa es tal cual las imágenes. nos sentimos cómodos y como en casa. llegas a la playa caminando en 10 min. es realmente hermoso. tienen 2 bicis que puedes utilizar . y sin duda volvería.

La casa es de buen tamaño y todo estaba muy bien si van en familia seguro les agradará, está total mente equipada y cuenta con bicicletas y asador 💯

At the casitas village you can find small markets (abarrotes) and restaurants within walking distance. During the week, you'll find farmers from nearby towns selling fresh produce and local specialties; fishermen offer their daily fish catch, shrimp, lobster, octopus, etc; Mennonites visit the town selling organic produce, artisanal cheeses and aromatic herbs...And don't hesitate to ask us for recommendations for fantastic restaurants and places to visit!
For families with kids, there is the newest water park in the Mexican Caribbean: Mayá, The Lost Mayan Kingdom. Within a 10 minute walk from the house, at this park you can enjoy a fun-filled day of zip lines, the thrill of the Kukulcan zip coaster, pools of natural water and the biggest water slides in Mexico!

出行信息

Arriving and moving around in rental car is the most convenient way. It's a safe 3 1/2 hr drive from Cancun to Mahahual. However, bus service is another good and safe option. There are daily buses from Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Tulum to Mahahual. Taxis are safe and available all the time. Trips to and from the house to the beach promenade and restaurants are 30 Pesos ($1.50 USD at current exchange rates).
