We enjoyed our stay. Lovely home in a nice neighborhood, very close to Goncourt metro, bakeries, food markets, and restaurants. Apartment was perfect for our family of two parents and two kids, aged 8 and 10. Kitchen was very convenient and functional, with a nice large range. Be careful with the countertop, as we didn't realize we made a stain on it and the host asked us to help with payment to get it fixed, which we did. The bathrooms are split into three rooms: a small toilet closet with sink, a larger room with two sinks and a bathtub, and a separate room with one shower is accessible through the bedroom with the two twin beds. Sound travels in the apartment building and the floorboards are a bit creaky as it is a beautiful historic building, so I would not recommend this apartment if you plan to make noise as it would likely cause some disturbance of neighbors. None of these are complaints, but fall into the category of things you might want to know to assess fit. Great spot!

Delphine's apartment was the perfect place for us to stay for a week! Located centrally near Canal St. Martin close to Belleville and the central area of CSM, near bakeries, cheese shops, and close to a good metro line. The kitchen is big and well appointed, allowing for us to cook many great meals that we ate in the bright and airy dining room. Highly recommend this apartment for a family with young children!

What a great Airbnb! The apartment is centrally located right near the canal, with many bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets, epiceries ect nearby, just 2 blocks from the canal. The place is very comfortable (great bed, couch, armchair, big bathtub), has tons of light and air, and is well insulated with a great heating system. There is a beautiful staircase or an elevator to go to the 3rd floor. There is everything you need for a short or long-term stay as it is a fully functioning apartment with thoughtful touches, not an ikea furnished rental. The old details are charming and the apartment looks better in person then in the photos. Of the 100+ airbnbs I've rented over the last 12+ years this was one of my favorite. Delphine is very responsive and proactive giving you recommendations and reaching out to make sure all is well during your stay. I would happily stay here again next time I'm in town.

We LOVED our one-month stay here at Delphine’s place! It is spacious and super comfortable and has a wonderful kitchen for those of us who don’t eat every meal out. We loved sitting on the porch with coffee or tea or a glass of wine and gazing at Sacré Coeur! The neighborhood is FABULOUS!! We found so many lovely coffee shops and bistros and farmers markets right close by and yet could pop on the metro to get to museums or other big sights. We will definitely return!!

This location is even better in person than in the pictures. Our family of four really enjoyed it. It is off the beaten path, yet really convenient to the Metro. Also, there are numerous grocery stores near by. Two thumbs up!
