Wow! This place is absolutely picture perfect and is the most amazing experience! We loved our stay here, as well as the beautiful village and people that surround it! The photos do not do this place justice. It was so tranquil,the food was absolutely amazing. We've been to Sri Lanka many times and this was probably the best food we've had... Ever! Jaggard and Palitar were super friendly and we loved learning of local fruits and plants as well as going on a sunset view trip- breathtaking. Thilina's niece looked after us during our stay and helped us with getting around, and we loved having the opportunity to chat and get to know more about life in Sri Lanka! We also just loved walking and running around the village - the most breathtaking morning views and lots of locals to say hello to along the way! Please, stay here and fall in love with Sri Lanka some more!

Om ”hidden gem” hade ett ansikte så skulle det vara Tea Heights. Jag vet knappt vart jag ska börja för att beskriva den här underbara platsen. Thilina var för det första en helt fantastisk värd, bra engelska, och noga med att hjälpa oss så mycket som möjligt för att göra vår vistelse oförglömlig. Han tog med oss ut på sin plantage och visade oss hur han odlar kryddor, kaffe, te, frukt och grönsaker. Vi fick följa med till ett buddistiskt tempel där munkarna visade oss runt. Vi åt flera måltider hos Thilina och maten var fantastisk! Själva Tea Heights är verkligen superfint, en fridfull oas mitt i djungeln med underbar utsikt. Huset är rent och fräscht, poolen likaså. Det var nästan som att ha en liten hemlig, avskild resort för sig själv. Om du letar efter en genuin Sri Lankesisk, personlig upplevelse så är Tea Heights the Place!

This is simply the best Air bnb I have been to and the best host I met. The place is idyllic, the room was extremely clean, spacious and the view was amazing. Thilina’s knowledge of the area and its culture made my stay an amazing experience that I firmly recommend to everyone. The staff is really attentive and here to help at anytime. Thilina’s mother cooking was next level delicious! Everything was magical! C'est tout simplement le meilleur Air bnb que j’ai visité et le meilleur hôte que j'ai rencontré. L'endroit est idyllique, la chambre était extrêmement propre, spacieuse et la vue était incroyable. La connaissance de Thilina de la région et de sa culture a fait de mon séjour une expérience incroyable que je recommande fortement à tout le monde. Le personnel est vraiment attentionné et là pour aider à tout moment. Les plats préparés par la mère de Thilina étaient délicieux! Tout était magique !

Tea Heights is a truly special place! It is remote, with the best views and a perfect way to take a breather from everyday life and enjoy the calmness of Sri Lanka. Thilina is a wonderful host and we enjoyed our chats with him and Sanjay, who made sure we arrived safely and got us to our next destination. The private pool is incredible, as is Thilina's mum's cooking. Waking up to that view was just wow! We visited in a weird time when the corona crisis was happening but Thilina ensured we were safe and gave us important local tips to navigate the situation. We will definitely be returning to finish our trip, and to spend more time in this wonderful place! Thanks

It is hard to describe precisely how magical Tea Heights is. It’s a beautifully designed modern villa nestled in a family tea plantation in a jungle. Glass walls on all 4 sides make you feel like you are living on a tall tree, with a view of the rich vegetation covering the hilltops. But, you still have all the amenities of extremly comfortable modern living. Oh, and there’s a pool just for you. And that’s just the beginning since the real magic comes from the warmth and thoughtfullness everybody treats you with. And again, its all just for you since Thalina and his team&family only host one party at a time. Hosting includes private veranda dinners of delicious homemade Sri lankan meals, tweaked just so it fits your ( or your two year old’s palate). Cannot recommend enough!
