I loved our stay in the cottage. We had previously stayed in the bedroom suite off Karen's house in 3/23 and wanted to try the cottage for 1/24. I loved the privacy it allowed us. It was convenient to Mandarin eateries, shops & Jax attractions. The weather fluctuated, so we did need heat at times, A/C at times & they worked fine. Karen was out of town on a family emergency but was reachable & she gave me the name & number of someone to reach if something was needed (I didn't need to call for anything). This cottage is close to my family, so I hope to stay here again. I want to visit them more often by bringing my work with me, but the WiFi/Internet is spotty, so I think that may be the only issue that prevents me from teleworking there. An updated router may solve it, although my family (less than a mile away) says the Internet in the area isn't great, so I'm not sure if the issue is Karen's Internet or the provider in general. I love this property and hope to stay with Karen again.

Wonderful comfortable cottage. Very peaceful and quiet setting. Karen was a great host very friendly and responsive to questions. Will definitely stay there again.

Met our needs. We were looking for something in the area to visit family. Was great to have a place to rest. Sheets were clean, easy check in, private seperate cottage and had everything we needed(laundry was great to have)! Could have been a little cleaner, a few cobwebs, patches on wall, old broken furniture, wifi was hit or miss and other little items that could have been better, not deal breakers for us as we were really only there to sleep. Lost power overnight on first day and did not come back on to the second floor and didnt hear from host till end of day, we found the panel box and fixed it ourselves and worked out ok for us because we were going to be out all day. Overall a nice place to rest.

This guest house on several acres of private property was very peaceful. The house met all of our needs.
