I will start by saying the host was extremely responsive from when I first booked the trip until our last day. Even though the pictures are beautiful being there was a completely different experience, the pool when you walk in until you go up the stairs to the rooftop it was completely beautiful, the neighborhood is so comfortable. The people there are so personable, it is very loud and the fact that it is very active all day and night for me that worked out for me and my friends. Once we were inside, you really couldn’t hear anything. It was only when we went to the rooftop that we could hear the music so that didn’t bother us. Now let’s get to the star Cytia. Cytia was a true blessing to our trip, the breakfast and the pet turtle. We had an amazing time. We did have a communication barrier that was very minor. We just used a translation app and it worked out for us. The breakfast was amazing every single morning. SHE IS TRULY AMAZING!

A hidden gem in the heart of Getsemani. The colonial facade may be easily missed since it blends with the town’s aesthetic beautifully and effortlessly. The detailed instructions provided by the host will lead you straight to it. Once inside, you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the common area’s interior. Subtle antique furniture surround the modern common kitchen. Followed by a cute mini pool. The property consists of three separate apartments that share the common living space + pool. Two of these have access to the rooftop + jacuzzi. Once inside the unit, you’ll be received by a fusion of modern & antique decor in the living space and a full bathroom. A spiral staircase will lead your two both bedrooms & rooftop. The unit has two bedrooms. A basement bedroom with two full sized beds and plenty of closet space and the master suite is located on the second level with a California bed, small balcony overlooking the pool and an on-suite full bathroom. From the master suite you can make your way up to the rooftop which is equipped with a jacuzzi. You can see parts of the walled city from there. Despite on how active, busy and relatively loud the neighborhood of Getsemani is, this Airbnb is quiet + relaxing once inside. The headliner of this show is Nacira, the housekeeper. She runs the place with so much grace, kindness and attentiveness. She will make breakfast everyday and make sure the entire unit is spotless and the bedrooms cleaned and beds are made (The beds are super comfortable by the way) Nacira will do her best to answer all of your questions in regards to the neighborhood and will go out of her way to meet your needs. She is an absolute gem. I wouldn’t suggest the property to couples if traveling with a third party since privacy within the unit is scarce. Like I mentioned, the entire unit is connected by a spiral staircase and you can easily hear everything from the different rooms + bathrooms. The master suite bathroom does not have a door. The unit also needs some TLC. There was a leak on ceiling in the on-suite bathroom and debris and water was falling into the shower. The couches on the common living room need some updates. The AC unit on the first floor stopped working on our last day. We were looking forward to using the hammocks by the pool but they are no longer there. Overall, our stay met our needs but for the price I feel that the unit needs more attention because it is a hidden gem in the heart of Getsemani.
