This stunning designer beach house features high cathedral ceilings that allow the warm tropical breezes to infiltrate the entire property. There are full length folding doors to create seamless transitions between indoor and tropical outdoor spaces. The pool is perfect for laps or lounging and is heated during the winter months. Beyond the pool is your own private beach pathway leads through the foreshore and on to Four Mile Beach. Tiled floors and timber finishes throughout the living areas blend harmoniously with the modern European stainless steel appliances and CaesarStone benches in the sleek kitchen. Enjoy al-fresco dining on the veranda overlooking the swimming pool. Barbeque with ease on a quality stainless steel Beefeater BBQ. Alternatively dine inside at a ten seat dining table with a servery to the state-of-the-art kitchen. Climb the stairs to the airy Master bedroom suite complete with a spacious en-suite bathroom, walk-in dressing room and a private balcony with a tropical foreshore outlook. A small bedroom with two single beds completes the sleeping configuration on the upper level. Downstairs are another three bedrooms; a queen room and 2 twin single rooms – either can convert to king beds. All rooms feature built-in mirrored robes and media desks. The downstairs area features two relaxing living areas. The larger area includes a large plasma TV, DVD, Stereo system and a WiFi internet connection. The house is perfectly located for a family holiday at Port Douglas. Three generations happily shared the spacious house for a week. The kids loved the pool, which was especially important given that it was not recommended to swim in the ocean at this time of year. It is an easy walk through forest to the beach where we could enjoy long walks or the kids could play in the sand.
Larry’s place is a stunning beachfront home with all modern conveniences well positioned in Port Douglas. It was like a tropical oasis.
Thank you for an amazing stay in this property. It was ideally located along Four Mile beach, and our families loved relaxing by the warm pool with the kids. The house catered for us all perfectly and we didn't want to leave.
Found Paradise at the Indirah!! Beautiful, spacious home with great amenities on the Four Mile Beach! Enjoyed relaxing at pool and exploring spectacular beach. Walking distance to charming Port Douglas town.
Such a wonderful place to stay, highly recommend!! We stayed here with 7 adults & 2 children under 5. Plenty of room in the house for us all, and the master bedroom upstairs was massive along with the children’s bedroom also it felt like we had our own space up there (could even easily fit a port-a-cot in the enormous walk in wardrobe upstairs if you had a baby too!). Indoor/outdoor flow was lovely! House was nicely styled & very clean and comfortable. Swimming pool area was great, pool a very comfortable temperature. Don’t bring any kids pool toys as lots of fun inflatables/noodles etc there for guests to use. Along with beach toys for the kids too! The location was perfect, just a short bush stroll along your own private path (gate at pool area) & you are right on 4 mile beach. It was a beautiful spot. Just under 3 kilometre walk along beach to Port Douglas town centre & main part of the beach. We also loved the walk uphill at the very end of the beach, some incredible views from there! We hired a car, very easy to get around & see the sites. Especially enjoyed Mossman Gorge (about 15/20mins drive).
