Très beau logement, à la fois noble (hauteur sous plafond, très grandes fenêtres) et charmant. Hôte particulièrement à l'écoute et agréable. Propreté irréprochable.

L’oiseau rare is an amazing apartment! Very clean and comfortable and is also well equipped with everything I needed. The apartment is in a perfect location, super close to Place Plumereau! Surrounded by great shops, restaurants and bars. Buses and trams are so close making it such an ideal spot. The courtyard is beautiful, and is frequently visited by birds. The neighbourhood is friendly and full of life but the apartment is lovely and quiet. Johana was extremely lovely and very helpful and was always available if needed. Johana also had plenty of recommendations and very helpful brochures on things to do whilst in Tours. I would 100% recommend staying here, perfect for longer stays too!

Johana’s apartment was perfect, right in the heart of town, close to the restaurants and nightlife. The noise can be loud at night but we turned on the fan (it was needed anyway as was hot) and that drowned out the noise. For cooking we had plenty of utensils and pots and pans, she had even provided lunch boxes which came in handy for picnics when out cycling. All in all it was a great space in a fun part of town and the front porch was wonderful with all the birds. One thing to note is if you have dust allergies there is a cool antique couch there that feels like it has feathers etc in it but sadly it triggered my partner’s allergies. It was fine as long as she didn’t sit in it :) All up a wonderful stay thanks heaps :)

Great apartment to spend time in while staying in Tours. So many restaurants and bars are less than 5 mins walk away. Would stay again

Johana was an excellent host and very friendly . She was super responsive and very helpful with recommendations for local attractions and places to eat. The place was very nicely appointed, spacious, comfortable and had everything need for our stay. The private courtyard was lovely and a fantastic spot for our morning coffee or evening drinks. We loved how close the place was to the Loire and the guinguettes. It is close to the train station and bike paths. A very short walk gets you to Les Halles and the Tours market where we did our daily shopping. The place is steps from Place Plumerau which we enjoyed but can be quite lively some nights. This was an excellent spot to enjoy Tours and a great base from which to explore the region.
