Beautiful apartment with high end appliances (great for cooking), but no stable WiFi . Lovely decor, bedding and towels but little space to comfortably put luggage and unpack (more show than function) and no stable WiFi. All tourist tips were internet-related, so we couldn’t access any. We couldn’t arrange tours, buy tickets, connect easily with host, family or friends from the apartment. And our host (Caroline), instead of fixing the problem, or apologizing for the constant and pervasive difficulty it was causing, reached out to AirBnB to move us, because we weren’t “suitable for a self-care apartment”. I reminded her that to “self-care properly”, things needed to function. Very uncomfortable and impersonal communication.

For us it offered most of what we were looking for. Clean, and tidy, a well equipped kitchen. Good shower, though you need to allow the water to run to get hot. Only issue was the intermittent WiFi.

Quality furniture and fittings with a comfortable bed. The kitchen is wonderful and they even had a teapot. Olive oil and some other condiments were available which is very helpful to cook a meal on your first night. Just a note about the hot water- don’t worry, it arrives after you’ve run the tap for a while (5min sometimes) but then the shower is fine. Venice is a maze and we learned not to worry about being lost. If you have time try to explore outside of the main attractions- it’s really worth it. Also, we found a lovely quiet park on the main island - up near the naval base.

Great location, a 5 minute walk from the taxi stop and within fifteen minutes of almost everything in San Marco and dorsoduro.

El alojamiento es vintage, bien ubicado y súper grande, con todo lo que necesitas. Pero… no me pareció la forma de gestionar la llegada que no sepan dar instrucciones para llegar al apartamento, únicamente me dijeron pregunta en la estación de vaporetto… No me pareció que en el punto de reunión se les tuviera que mandar mensaje y llamar incluso, nunca contestaron. (Se les avisó de nuestra llegada desde que llegamos a la Sta Lucia) después decidimos buscar la dirección por nuestra cuenta después de esperar 20. Llegamos al apto y no tuvimos respuesta incluso ahí. Les llamamos de nuevo y llegaron molestos porque no los habíamos esperado lo suficiente. El apto estaba con mucho polvo! Las sabanas sucias, se les aviso y nada. En visto Cero comunicación. Por error dejamos medicamentos y cosas valiosas y nunca nos volvieron a contestar. Ni siquiera reclamándolo de vuelta, solo preguntando para dejar de buscar y nada. No corresponden nada a la esencia de airbnb de hacerlo mas humano, al contrario super fríos, solo rentan y no les interesa nada. El espacio es lindo y espacioso pero jamas regresaría.
