Loved the place. In the middle of the woods, a creek running through the far back, quiet, no cell service (in this case a win), we really enjoyed our time there.

Thanks to John for a great place and a wonderful vacation. This mountain house is fantastic - a 5-star home. The house is large and can easily accommodate a party of 8 - 10 people. John stocks the house with all sorts of essentials that are helpful. We would definitely come back to this mountain house.

This place is a great getaway with friends and family. It has everything you would possibly need for a comfortable cooking experience at the house. I initially thought that it would not have enough utensils or condiments to cook, so I brought a bunch, but I was wrong. It also has an awesome TV and sound system which super duper great for late night movies. It also has board games and books to keep you entertained: UNO, Monopoly to mention a few. The jacuzzi was a plus on top of the already awesomeness. The stay was very peaceful. TO BE AWARE OF: we checked in around evening in winter which is complete darkness here, and it was raining, so the road got muddy and we got stuck at the entrance, so we proceeded to walk to the house… oh boy what an experience: (Walking in complete darkness for 4-5 minutes to reach the house.) The house was unlit upon arrival, so yah. We joked that we played the main quest on the first day, and the remaining of the stay are side quests. But all good. 🤣
