Very secluded and quiet place. It was a little tricky to find using Maps, but I made it there. Full kitchen but limited cookware. The shower was unusual, and worked fine. The bed was too soft for me, and sinks down in the middle. Overall, a nice place to relax and enjoy the quiet. one of the better deals in the area.

We were planning on checking in at 7:45pm but we were told they still needed to clean at 7:15pm. Very late notice which means they weren’t paying attention to current bookings. We checked in at 9:45pm but the bathroom was not clean. The bathroom sink/shower was still covered in people’s yuck and hair. The “pool” was an indoor pond/water feature, low in water and very dirty with dirt, plant matter, and algae. Not useable. There also wasn’t a petting zoo. We were told we couldn’t set up a time for our kids to pet the animals as they only had horses, ducks, and a pig. Another thing, not a single door locked except the bathroom, not even the front door. Felt unsafe. And having a toddler that sleepwalks was dangerous since we couldn’t lock doors to the water pond. I will say that the unit is architecturally unique. It wasn’t a horrible stay. Just not as great as others or what we expected. The amenities sound amazing but they are lacking, even in the kitchen. Bring your own disposables.

We absolutely loved it! The place was clean, host was very friendly and helpful. The area is peaceful and quiet. There were some stairs I wasn’t expecting (I can do them just hard with health problems) but that didn’t hinder us! We brought our 4 big dogs and they loved the stay just as much! It is a little far from things, but for what it is, we really enjoyed our time!

There was leftover food in drain that contributed to a rotten egg like smell, an old rusted can of Gillette men’s shave gel next to dresser, bathroom had soap and hair in drain along with snot or conditioner on walls, the smell of the sheets and blanket was that of an older man’s oily head. Not really dusty but had spiders crawling across the spare bed as soon as arrived. Only one roll of toilet paper so asked for more. The area in front of house was very over grown, bbq put pretty much rusted so we ate out. Grass was over grown about a foot tall. It worked for what we needed it to which was just to sleep as we spent the day at the river. But would have preferred cleanliness. Steet and driveway needs to be graded and a lot of pot holes from water washout. There are a lot of deer to look at in evening and throughout day. I wouldn’t consider this a farm but makeshift pens with animals and horses were skinny :( did not say anything cuz there is nothing that could be done.
