A lovely house, beautifully appointed and high standard of linen. Anne exceptionally helpful and flexible meaning we could meet up with friends very local to her place.

I highly recommend Anne's place. Very comfortable and spacious bedroom. Lovely location by the river. Anne was a great host and went out of her way to make me feel welcome.

Wonderful house. Clean tidy and easy tofind. The street is most picturesque with lines trees.

Nice room and close to the Wangaratta city centre. Anne is a nice lady and stayed up to receive us as we were arriving at 10PM. Things to point out about the listing description which didn’t hold entirely true, 1. Probably slightly unclear in the listing that the other two rooms would be occupied as well and that the bathroom and toilet could potentially be shared by 4 other people (excluding the 2 who would occupy the current room). As per the original listing, it was implied that the other two rooms wouldn’t be occupied unless specified. We were only informed on arrival that we would be sharing with two more couples. Just as a pointer, would be good to ask the host in advance 2. The host had personal guests over during one night of the stay. Understandable that the house is shared but for travellers wanting to do the cycling trails (or just have had a long day of touring), coming back to a noisy home after a long day is not ideal. Perhaps ask the host in advance if she is expecting anyone home to avoid disappointment 3. Listing mentions continental breakfast provided. This is not the case although Anne did show us where the tea and coffee was Not entirely worth the price- if anything, this was a slightly nicer version of a hostel but only thing available at the time in the area
