If you like the sound of birds and fresh air coming from the beautiful garden and staying in an artist's house, I can only recommend Nana's amazing house. Nana is an amazing host, taking care of everything apart from just being a women to be inspired by. Thank you for the great stay and for making me feel at home, dear Nana!

Le séjour chez Nana était tout simplement magnifique. Son fils Henry m’a attendu bien que je sois arrivé tard après 23h et s’est assuré que j’étais bien installé, en m’accueillant avec un grand sourire et me donnant toutes les d’informations dont j’avais besoin pour être à l’aise. La chambre était encore plus belle que sur les photos, et surtout la propreté est irréprochable, je me suis tout de suite sentie à la maison. La literie, les sanitaires, la chambre, tout était immaculé. Nana est une personne qui sait accueillir et mettre à l’aise. L’accès est facile, le quartier est très beau avec des coins sympas dans les environs. Pour mon premier voyage au Ghana je ne pouvais rêver mieux et si l’occasion se présente à nouveau d’aller à Accra je retourne chez elle sans hésiter.

A cozy and open space where one easily feels at home. Nana Amu is an eclectical host with a special sense for design, art and the environment as expressed for example in the many and different trees on her compound. The apartment is exactly as presented online and has many little thoughtful details which make the stay even more pleasant. It is highly recommended.

We enjoyed our booking at the start of our trip so much that we changed our plans and made a second booking for the final few days of our trip. It was the best decision! Nana, Henry and Faustina are the perfect hosts - communicative, flexible and ready to help when needed. We had a great stay in this amazing property and plan to stay here again in future!

I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs but this was by far my best experience. Nana’s taste is unmatched. Her home is styled to perfection, with the essentials you need during a short stay, and manages to celebrate Ghanaian heritage and style, which I love. Nana is the perfect host, happy to help when needed but offering all the freedom and comfort needed to experience the city on your own terms. The immediate area around Nana’s home is perfect for exploring Accra; it felt safe and it was very easy to get an Uber to and from (day or night). As a very special treat, Nana also gave us the chance to try Yoko Garri for breakfast on the last day of our stay, which was a fabulous end to our visit! I visit Ghana often, and I plan to do so more alone. I have been searching for a place that could offer the reassurance of a family compound but the independence and convenience of a hotel — I found both here. I hope to return again very soon!
