When we opened the front door it smelt like it hadn’t been opened months the smell was horrible. The bathroom was dusty and hair everywhere and didn’t looked like it had been cleaned. There was dust and make cleaners under the bed. There was a cockroach infestation with baby cockroaches everywhere and we even had 2 big cockroaches come out of the utensil draw in the kitchen. No tea towel to wipe up with or spare bin liners. Only 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 people for for 5 nights. Very disappointed

While the location can't be faulted, the property description of amenities were unclear and out of date. The listing said no wifi but there is, which is great but better to know before arrival. It is stated there is no linen but it's not clear what is provided. Turns out it means no sheets, pillowcases, or towells. The beds do have mattress protectors and duvets with covers. We brought sheets and duvet covers but not enough towells. A minor irritation but could have been avoided. In the week before the holiday I emailed Elders for more info but did not receive any response. The place is nice but let down by lack of cleanliness. The kitchen was well equipped but cupboards smelt musty. The upstairs carpets need a good clean, as do the windows. The bathroom also needs a deep clean and the fan cover has come off which makes it very noisy. One assumes the price is based on the place being a little run down because the location near Flynn's beach is brilliant.

Great location, great little restaurant bar across the road. Lovely cafe across the road on the beach, short walk to general store and bottle shop. Will definitely stay again.
