The garden is the absolute highlight of this place. The shower takes a bit getting used to and the local pub is not good, so for food you’d have to come prepared or drive 20mins to the next (highly expensive restaurant).

We stayed at this lovely cottage over a long weekend and used it as our base to explore the area. It was our first time in Wales and what an amazing introduction! The cottage is lovely and a great location especially if you are planning to go up Mount Snowdon. The Rhyd Ddu path is a few minutes walk away. Considering this was our first attempt, we walked to the Snowdon Ranger Path which took us about 30 minutes and was a well needed warm up before the start of the day. The cottage was a great place to come back to and rest. Sally is a wonderful host and thank you for the bottle of wine! We will definitely consider coming back!

Amazing listing, perfect for a family of 4! Sally was an extremely responsive, helpful and informative host. We literally stuck to her list of recommendations for 5 days and our kids loved all the activities. The cottage is perfectly situated in the heart of Snowdonia so all tourist attractions are max 45 mins drive away. The cottage is also really cosy, well stocked with board games and a great get-away from the busy city life. My kids did not want to leave! We will surely be back in a few years.

We had a brilliant stay in Rhyd-Ddu! The location is stunning with great views from the garden. I wish the weather was better for our stay so we could explore more but it’s a good excuse to return! The house itself had everything you could need, especially when hiding from the elements. Can’t wait to come back!
