The photos did not do the view justice. It’s a show stopper as you walk in. It was such a peaceful and beautiful location. The grill came in handy. The porch outside was great to eat as a group. It was nice to eat in the dining room as well as a group. The water activities were so much fun. The board games were fun. The theater room was amazing. Only regret was not bringing any dvds. Overall great place to go to get away and spend quality time with the family. We loved it 🥰 I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful vacation in nature that can fit 8 people.
We so enjoyed some family “down time” and hope to continue this family trip that has become tradition. Lake was so quiet and peaceful, even when others were out too. And our accommodations could not have suited our family better.
This house was the right choice for our long weekend getaway from Atlanta. We were a bit early in the season (mid-May), so the lake was pretty quiet - and that isn't a bad thing - we had the whole lake to ourselves. The provided water toys were perfect and everyone - from the 8-year-old up - used the heck out of them. We took in a movie in the theater room and ate some excellent popcorn. Spacious and comfortable - top marks all around. Rob was responsive - though be warned; cell coverage depends on your carrier (AT&T ftw). We saw SO many deer. Several deer per day, including in the back yard. And lots of turtles. Very cool. The bonfire pit was great. If you're running out to get firewood, gas, or just need the nearest beer, use the north gate. And having the option to book a boat that was waiting for us upon arrival made everything so much easier. In closing, a member of our party set the high score on Galaga that will not be beaten, no matter how hard you try.
Very nice home , comfortable and cozy, great view of the lake. We found it very clean which is one of our priorities in a vacation rental. It had so many nice touches such as cozy throws, pillows, comfortable bed, and great linens. The hosts are a fantastic, friendly, they was available to answer all questions. The theater room was ammmmmazing!
Rob was more than accommodating and the house is beautiful. I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Year Purchased: 2010 Why the Owner Chose Waleska: We fell in love with Lake Arrowhead for many reasons but mostly due to it offering lake living, mountains, close proximity to a major city, all while being nestled in a private, gated, quiet, golf community. We live in Roswell, GA so finding this gem, less than 1 hour from home, was the perfect investment for us. We welcome you to stay at our home and fall in love with this hidden treasure in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains - just as we have! The Unique Benefits at this House: If you love being outdoors, Lake Arrowhead is the place for you (golf, swimming, boating, tennis, hiking, fishing, etc). Imagine a day waking up to a beautiful sunrise overlooking a tranquil lake, with deer visiting in your back yard. Enjoy breakfast outside on the deck with a beautiful view. Take a ride on a pontoon boat for a few hours or simply kayak or paddle boat along to the next cove. Travel an hour away and take in an Atlanta Braves game. Then visit some of the finest restaurants in the United States in Buckhead.....what a perfect day!
