Very nice and quiet place to get away. Completely enjoyed my stay and would come back. Diane was always available and responsive for any questions.

. We encountered several issues during our stay. There is a rope swing, on a dead tree branch, my son went to play on it & realized the potential for disaster and he walked away. Close to the house where we parked is a very dead tree and needs to be removed, A tragedy waiting to happen. The bath tub water didn’t drain the first day, I ended up having to straddle the sides of the tub and maneuver the remainder of my shower which was uncomfortable and dangerous. We notified Dee of the standing water, sent pictures and also identified the slow drain for the BR sink, we went to Home Depot, purchased equipment and fixed problems. House is musty and damp and the smell is covered with glade plug ins which caused headaches, we set them outside for the duration and once they were diffused, the pungent damp moldy stench took over. Beds awful, old and once my husband laid down, I was sleeping on an incline. No support. Toilet paper was infested with paper lice, discovered late in our stay.

My kids and I had a pleasant night's sleep in the cottage. It was very quiet and comfortable. We had fun looking at all the treasures collected in the cottage, cooking on the grill, and having coffee on the porch. I would definitely stay again if in the area!
