The cottage is well designed with quality fit-out, furnishings and décor. We loved the wall art, wall and floor tiles, wooden floors and high ceilings. It was cosy with the wood burner plus reverse cycle a/c and underfloor heating. Great porch for dining overlooking the wilderness and wildlife. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway. The walk along Wicketty War Road through the state forest is beautiful and a treat for birders. The cottage's satellite Wifi works perfectly - my die-hard Crows fan even managed to stream them losing their first game of the season on his phone. The local dog Apollo is very friendly and well trained but beware as 2 of my party who have dog allergies had to take anti-histamines after sitting on the sofas in the lounge. Also note that shower toiletries are not provided - remember to bring them as the nearest shops are half an hour away! We had a few maintenance issues when we checked in but Valeria resolved them rapidly. An very enjoyable stay.

We had two nights at Valeria's house in Hampton and completely loved it. The house was newly renovated, clean and tidy and packed with everything you need to cook at home. There was lots of space for our group of 6. If you're looking for a peaceful country get away for a few nights this is perfect. We'll definitely stay there again.

one of the best holiday locations we have ever been. Very peaceful and excellentneighbourhood country location. From the back decking we could see wildlife roaming further away. Top it up there was the black Labrador from the neighbourhood who visit us and play with us every day. An idyllic location for a peaceful holiday. There were 7 of us we enjoyed thoroughly. I am sure all in our party will visit again. 3 bedrooms and 7 can sleep comfortably. Two can use sofa beds in the living room. There was internet and mobile reception for Optus network just outside the house.
