A lovely little cottage, loved the wood burning stove (Aga) that heated the place and you could cook in it, it was cold during our stay so this made it super cosy! Good facilities, everything we needed and it was a lovely secluded spot with plenty of space to walk it dog (and we saw plenty of deer). Would recommend.

Karl's immaculate cabin was a great place for a getaway. The cabin was beautiful and cozy and stayed very warm even on cold, snowy winter days. Everything was well put together and balanced the ambience of being in a cabin in the forest with modern amenities and a great kitchen. When winter weather impacted our plans, Karl was very helpful, supportive, and communicative, making what could have been a tough experience very enjoyable. We would absolutely love to visit again and highly recommend Karl's cabin to anyone visiting the area. (And our dog loved it too!)

Balmoral Cottage was a comfortable place to explore the beautiful surroundings. Karl kindly shared his solar-powered EV charger with us and had good tips for cycling in the area. A plunge in the pond was perfect after a hot and dusty ride. Thanks!
