This was a wonderful find. The house is precisely as described and Brigitte is a delightfully warm, responsive and interesting host. Often, AirBnB properties can lack character and all the little things that turn a stay from a basic experience into a properly comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Brigitte’s house is most definitely the latter; wonderfully equipped, nicely furnished, comfortable beds, thoughtful touches, pictures, books etc. In other words, someone’s home, rather than a simple rental. Argeles is delightful, friendly and a simple walk from the house. The cycle path is marvellous and access to towns, several ski resorts and wonderful trails, equally easy. We arrived home and already miss the fabulous, white peaked surroundings at the wooden house and very much look forward to returning.
Brigitte est une personne chaleureuse . Nous avons beaucoup communiqué et ce fut un réel plaisir . Sa maison est superbe . On s’y sent bien tout de suite , façon chalet de montagne avec un poêle à bois pour se chauffer . Il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer un agréable séjour , à 2 pas de tout . Nous avons tout fait à pieds surArgeles gazost . Nous recommandons !
We loved our stay at Brigitte’s beautiful home. She was very kind, responsive and helpful. She made our stay so much more enjoyable with information on local restaurants, and local tips. The beautiful wood house has a well stocked ‘chefs kitchen,’ and all the amenities of home plus a beautiful yard. We are so grateful she shared her home with us. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this home to anyone. It’s a wonderful location with so much to do in town, a wonderful weekly market and great restaurants. We had a great time biking (in all directions) right from the house. We will be back!
Wir waren zum ersten Mal in der Unterkunft von Brigitte ein ganz tolles Haus zum Wohl fühlen. Wir waren total begeistert sehr gemütlich und ein schöner Garten wenn man schönes Wetter hat zum draußen hinsetzen und relaxen. Von der Unterkunft kann man in die Berge fahren und tolle Wanderungen oder die Natur erleben vielen Dank noch mal für die tolle Unterkunft. Wir werden wiederkommen.
A beautiful house in Argeles Gazost, and Brigitte was the perfect host - super responsive and very accommodating. Would 100% recommend. We were there for cycling in the Pyrenees and the place couldn’t have been more ideal.

Originaire de cette vallée, j’adore voyager et découvrir de nouvelles cultures. J’ai d’ailleurs vécu 12 ans en Afrique, la déco de ma maison en témoigne ! Je la loue quelques semaines pendant la belle saison et les vacances d’hiver. Je considère mes hôtes comme des invités, je veux qu’ils ne manquent de rien. Le plus beau compliment que vous puissiez me faire, c’est de me dire que vous vous sentez comme à la maison ! Et si en plus, je peux partager avec vous quelques bonnes idées de randonnées ou d’activités dans notre petit éden pyrénéen, alors c’est le top ! J’espère à bientôt !
