I had a terrible time at this place because of the black mold. I don't think the listing accurately depicts how terribly rundown this place is. David was a nice host, but I don't think he was aware this kind of place is unacceptable for people with allergies. I don't think this house is healthy to stay in, let alone live in. I am astounded that this house had good reviews.

I had a very peaceful stay at David's House. Very quiet house and neighbourhood. Wood Green have all the best food you can find in London and is only. 7 min walking.

Pros: hosts are kind and welcoming, house is warm and cosy with central heating turned on 24/7 (NB: I went in December), room is spacious and kitchen is well-equipped. Location is decent (zone 3, 5’ walk to the nearest Tube station). Cons: no power socket near the bed, fixed amount of toilet paper provided at check-in and left to be managed by guests (I’d rather it were managed by hosts and replaced as needed), and almost no cutlery in the kitchen, save for a knife and a small spoon. A very nice experience overall.

Modest, but spacious room very well located next to the Piccadilly Line, just 30 mins away from London city centre. David was helpful and respectful. Recommended!
