We had a lovely week staying at Il Kiostro. From the moment we stepped in Malta, Daniel and Clinton were very helpful with everything. They’re a great host. Looked after us so well from the moment we checked in, giving us recommendations especially during Easter to see festival and places to keep the little ones entertained. The place is amazing, neat, clean, authentic and just gorgeous! It is also only 10 minutes from the airport. We had a fabulous time staying at this place. Blue Grotto was our highlight. The boat tour to the caves is only 20 mins walk from Il Kiostro with an amazing view from the top of the rocks. Even our 4 little ones didn’t complain on our walking journey. Which was amazing! The place is private and peaceful. 100% Highly recommended! We will definitely stay at Il Kiostro again. Thank you Daniel and Clinton. You were amazing hosts and what a beautiful place you have!

Il Kiostro is a one of a kind space, thoughtfully modernized while still preserving its unique historic character, an oasis of beauty and history. Zurrieq is a small, old town with walkable amenities and we ate there only one evening but enjoyed an excellent take-out meal on Daniel’s recommendation, within an easy walk from the house. Daniel and Clinton’s hosting is exceedingly courteous, friendly and thoughtful, including their many fine recommendations for sight seeing and restaurants. We were glad for every one we followed. It was a magical stay and we’d love to return.

We had a wonderful stay the property it was a complete delight. Daniel could not have been more helpful. There are lots of little extras that made a difference such as dishwasher tablets and Shower Gel in all of the bathrooms. The courtyard is beautiful full of lovely plants and flowers. During the evening it is adorned with fairy lights which give a lovely cosy atmosphere. Zurrieq is the Village/Town which has a few bars and restaurants dotted about. Sadly we missed their Feast which must be amazing to be part of, the buzz of the flags and lights going up all over the place was quite intoxicating. The blue grotto is only a short taxi ride away and a lovely place to go to be beside the sea at sunset. Highly recommended is Aalto a contemporary restaurant with stunning views. Booking is advisable as this place gets very busy. We would love to return to Malta again one day, and would not hesitate to book to stay at II Kiostro.

WOW and more WOW !!!!! We rented this beautiful house (i called it my castle) for one month; so I had time to experience the whole deal. The castle was gorgeous, had absolutely everything you needed and to a very high standard. The water pressure in the showers, the high quality bed mattresses and the tropical gardens, all done with love and attention. The town of Zurrieq is is beautiful and has everything you need including excellent bus service to Valletta and anywhere else on the Island. Daniel and Clinton are the cherry on the sundae, they not only made this little piece of haven but they are always only a text away from anything you need and they both being Maltese our a wealth of information. Thank you both for making Malta a FABULOUS trip and hopefully see you again soon. Mavourneen & Mark

A magnificent and unique Airbnb in every way - it is like a small castle and it's hard to believe but the photos do not do it justice. It is one-of-a-kind and well worth staying in. Clinton and Daniel were very accommodating - we felt extremely welcome from start to finish. I highly recommend it - thank you both for everything.
