Great location, you need to cross a bridge to get to the place which just added to the cool experience. It’s small, but perfect for two people and plenty of outdoor space. Everything you need is there. A state park and a Redwoods preserve are within a 10 minute drive. Awesome restaurants nearby as well. Linda and her husband were very responsive. I was not feeling well one day and they brought over some beverages to calm my stomach. Great service!!

Ultimately we weren't pleased with our accommodations especially for the price. Some areas that need improvement are the odor in the cottage. It smells as if someone smokes/smoked in it in the past. A huge mold problem? Our clothing even smells after our stay. They have a purifier but we weren't told about this until after our stay. No excuse you shouldn't have this odor. Second the insect problem (ants & silverfish) was an issue so much so that ants were crawling in our bedding & even in the bathroom. Linda tried to address this with traps but that didn't improve the situation. Weather was to blame instead of properly sealing the cottage or having pest maintenance done. Lastly, the actual plumbing had issues. The shower head kept falling. Faucets loose. Overall, we cannot recommend this Airbnb. Great location but terrible up keep & very deceiving enhanced photography. We stayed out of convenience & we did obtain a partial refund but the negatives outweighed the positives

This was our 2nd stay w/ Linda! The property is beautiful and serene. Addie the dog is a sweet girl. If you’re looking for a getaway that’s close to San Francisco yet has that peaceful vibe, this is the perfect place for you. If we could afford the 3 night minimum, we would’ve definitely booked another stay for August. Thank you Linda for being an awesome host! We loved our stay.

I met Linda’s husband the night I got in town. He was very nice. The place is really a central location for great trails, restaurants to the north and south(in the city).
