What a gem of a place. Makbul, his brother and the rest of his family really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. The place was just great, very clean, good food and great company (we ended up singing with them in the evening, something we don’t typically do…). They also took us on a tour through the rice fields and to a local waterfall and village. Great experience. Our kids made friends locally, playing football with them. All in all, cannot recommend this place enough.

Lovely basic rooms, but very clean and everything we needed for our short stay. Beautiful surroundings and exceptional hosts!!! Next time we will stay longer to enjoy hospitality, food and local surroundings. Thank you all for a very enjoyable short stay.

Nous avons passé à Green Haven, 2 jours en famille (2 adultes et un enfant de 9 ans) dans un cadre unique. Le logement est simple mais tellement typique. L’excursion au milieu des rizières, les cascades et la découverte de l'artisanat local ont été une superbe aventure humaine ! Merci à Muzi et Amang de leur générosité et merci pour le partage de leur si belle culture.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay with our 3 year old in tow. The accommodation was clean and better than we thought it would be, it had all you need for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the warm local hospitality and delicious food. We took on local tours which were both reasonably priced and interesting. Local knowledge made it a more memorable walk through the padi fields. Will def stay again when we come back to Lombok.

I wish I could give 10 stars. We loved the food, the vernacular architecture, the care taken to teach us about Lombok history. Our room was beautiful, clean, and the fan fully adequate for the cool(ish) highland nights; we never missed AC. Our hosts are fully committed to a plastic-free eco-friendly island, and we appreciated that too; the village of Tetebatu and the neighboring villages of “Yellow Flower” and “Sweet Orange” were the cleanest we saw in all of Indonesia. We had wanted to climb Rinjani but hadn’t taken the rainy season into account. Because Rinjani was closed we spent an amazing day with our host touring the rice fields and the monkey forest, and swimming in a waterfall. 10 stars all around!
