The house is located in a peaceful little village right on the edge of the water with direct access to a pebble beach. Lemma was very helpful with all our special requests for our toddlers and baby (cot, gate for the stairs etc.) the area is very rural with good taverns and everyone is friendly. the only downside we had was that it was very hot during August and the house doesn't have AC... apart from that it was perfect. the kids loved playing in the yard and going to the beach and the breaking waves was the most relaxing sound I had for a long time. thank you Lemma for a great stay

Lemma's home is perfect for a restful get away. The property is modern and well equipped. Everything that you could want. The interior of the property was cool and functional, the room fans where quiet and where far superior to A/C. The out door space gives multiple options for eating or just sitting and relaxing. The short walk down the garden to the beach meant we spent a lot of time just "watching" our surroundings, and we even sat there in the evening just looking at the the stars. The beach isn't private, but you get the impression that it is just because there is no one there. There are un-spoilt villages on route to Dafni, if you aren't personally driving the views of the mountains and sea are breath taking. Dafni itself is just at the end of the road there is a taverna at either end of the village that are very welcoming. If you are looking for a location that is unspoilt, but with quality accommodation Lemma's house is it.

Lemma's property is amazing, beautiful, with direct sea access and well equipped. Unfortunately it has no air conditioning and this is a huge minus. When outside is 36 degree Celsius it is difficult to stay both outside (where the large stone terraces get very hot) and inside (where the fans cannot deal with this kind of temperature). Because of the extensive stone terraces the house remains hot even at night .

We had a very nice holiday with the children, thanks to Lemma and Giorgi for this. A quiet place away from the noise, the house was more beautiful than the one mentioned, very useful, the garden gate opens directly to the sea, we could swim at any time of the day and not many people. The view was the number ten, and we watched the sunset every day. The house had a large and well-kept garden, my wife Since he likes to spend time with flowers and trees, his time here was very good for him. It was very enjoyable to use the canoe with the children. Half an hour away, we were getting our fresh vegetables and fruits from the public market, and Giorgi was bringing us fresh vegetables from his own garden. We left happy and I would definitely like to stay here again.

Lemma's home is a treasure, as is the surrounding area. I felt that we were hidden away at the end of the earth in a Eden-like environment. Every few hours I would walk to the beach down the path in the back yard of the house, and stare at the lush mountains framing our bay. The way the sun transformed this landscape hourly would probably be enough reason to stay in Dafni. However, the quiet luxury of this beach house was another incentive to stay put and just bask in the comfort and beauty of this spot. Still, Evia, one of the biggest islands in Greece, is worth exploring even if some of the sights are far-flung. Because of the size and variety of this land, some drives are hours long and if we had the time (and desire to be away from the house for long) we would have taken advantage of them. Instead, we stayed within a radius of 1.5 hours in all directions and got to experience many beaches, kayaking, hiking in a gorge, swimming in a waterfall, and climbing up Mount Dirfys along with some wild goats. Chalkida is also accessible for shopping and more urban adventures but we preferred to retreat from the world-- but in the comfort offered to us by this house. The Wifi is strong, the appliances dependable, the beds plush, and the hot water immediately available. Bliss! Thanks, Lemma and family! Special shout out to Mr. Giorgos, our neighbor and contact in Daphni. He was generous with produce from his garden- we cooked so much ratatouille!- and a source of information and a few stories.
