We were enchanted from the very beginning. Ellie and Chris turned their well-looked-after house into a cozy home. The room met all expectations, without any hint of disappointment throughout our stay. The house environment and decorations, both in the room and throughout the entire house, provided an absolutely homely atmosphere. It was a pleasure to start the day with breakfast in the kitchen and to return in the evenings after long walks in the city. Chris and Ellie are welcoming and friendly beyond description. Our stay had the 100% vibes of staying at a friend's place over the weekend. The location is very conveniently accessible by public transport and - for those who enjoy longer walks - not far from the city's attractions. All in all, it was a stay that is now on our list of absolutely worth-repeating experiences.

An exceptional Air BnB. Ellie and Chris understand that the originl concept of Air BnB is/was to host and create a home-stay, and to that end, as well as the lovely bedroom with small walk-in shower, and a bathroom next door, their entire ground floor is on-limits: the kitchen, the fridge, the living room, the TV. Crucially, they provide ample materials for a lovely breakfast (so many hosts forget that AirBnB has two B's and the corporation in charge doesn't seem much bothered by most hosts' omission of the 2nd B), laying out cereals and breads and fine coffees and teas, and they are comfortable with guests cooking, not that you need to when CLapham High St and Clapham Common are right outside the door. It was a complete coincidence that Chris and Ellie are vegan, like myself and my partner, but it certainly helped. I also loved all the books on London in the bedroom. Seriously and truly, there is nothing whatsoever I could fault here even if I tried.

We had a lovely stay with Ellie and Chris. Upon arrival they were very welcoming and generous! They made us feel right at home during our stay. Everything was clean and there’s a comfortable shower in the bedroom, with a cute round window. The home is in a decent enough neighborhood with restaurants serving tasty food and cafes great for breakfast. Conveniently there is a Sainsbury’s literally around the corner and the tube is about a 2 minute walk. In short; a great few days in London!
