Neat as a pin and cute as a button ! This private upstairs apartment is located behind a beautiful brick home built in 1920 in the historic garden district of Bay Minette. The carriage house appears to have built at the same time as the main house and the little 2-room apartment on the second floor has been totally updated but retains vintage touches such as original bead-board on the ceiling and walls and lovely wide woodwork around the doors and windows. Bay Minette is the county seat of Baldwin County and the courthouse is located just 4.5 blocks from the apartment . . . easy walking distance if you are so inclined. Our hosts greeted us warmly and gave us a quick walk through of the apartment and then went on with their own activities. They were great hosts ! The neat corner kitchen is fully stocked for your needs and the small bathroom has plenty of fluffy towels. The wifi has a strong signal and we had NO problems at all easily accessing the internet. There is a quiet, modern, easy-to-operate heating/cooling system in the ceiling of each room, the controls of which are operated from a thermostat on the wall. We were able to park in the concrete driveway of the carriage house, just a few steps from the lighted staircase to the apartment. The main home has been beautifully restored and the lawn was impeccable. Overall, the place was a stunner. We will be telling our friends in this community of this hidden jewel in their midst.

Don't hesitate to book this location!!! It is ABSOLUTELY perfect!!! They are so kind and accommodating!!! The space is extremely neat and clean, and will fit 3 people comfortably. They supplied everything I needed to prepare meals and just relax!! I had plenty of peace and quiet!! THANK YOU Ray!!!!

We loved Ray's place! It is located in a gorgeous part of the sweet little town of Bay Minette, convenient to the beaches and to Mobile. Our wonderful hosts thought of everything and it was extremely tidy and clean. I highly recommend staying with Ray and Elizabeth!
