The cottage is located at the foothill of Mount Edouard, in the majestic enclave of the Saguenay Fjord. A few minutes from the cottage, the heart of the village of L'Anse-Saint-Jean is full of authentic places and shops, bike paths and walking trails. At the mouth of the Saint-Jean River on the Saguenay Fjord, is the marina, a place with a unique landscape. The area is known for fishing, the outdoors in the mountains and on the fjord, and its beautiful landscapes.
Elevated at 635 meters, Mont-Édouard is the fifth highest mountain in Quebec. Its vertical drop is 450 meters, with slopes reaching 62% inclination. In winter, conditions for winter sports are exceptional with an accumulation of more than 6 meters of snow per season. In the vicinity of the chalet, other activities such as tube sliding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice fishing and dog sledding are available.
In summer, the Fjord is a haven of peace, where you can fully enjoy the great terrain and access the many hiking trails of Mount Edward and the region. The mountain bike trails are in development, with already some beautiful trails and a well maintained climbing trail. Several fishing activities are possible in the nearby lakes, on the rivers and in the Saguenay Fjord.

It is possible to easily park 3 cars in the parking lot of the chalet.
