My two friends and I had a wonderful stay in this 1st floor apartment in the gated residential estate Fraccionamiento El Cielo. It is located about 10-15 minutes drive from the center of Playa del Carmen depending on where you go. We stayed for two weeks and had a rental car so it was convenient. Although not near the tourist scene, we appreciated the easy access to the Carretera 307 for our sightseeing and other activities. We also appreciated not having to look for a parking lot all the time. There was ample and safe parking in the estate. I would say that staying in such a place is suitable for longer stays and only if you are mobile. Otherwise getting around to go sightseeing or for meals would be a hassle. There are also no restaurants within walking distance except for Subway and Oxxo (like 7-11). Oxxo is small so don’t expect much. We used it for „emergencies“. A huge supermarket called Chedraui is a short drive away. Staying at this apartment was like being at home. The apartment is very comfortable. There were a couple of things which I would have liked to have and which were missing but Cesar and Jorge attended to my requests immediately and bought/brought them. So the apartment is now better equipped for future guests. :) I am very grateful for the wonderful, unexpected service they provided me. Thanks very much!

A very nice place in the residential area el cielo in Playa del Carmen. We travelled as a family with 3 kids and we felt very secure at Icoinqui's place. By car it's close and convenient to get to the beach, the shops, to Playa del Carmen centre as well as to other nearby activities. Our host is very fast to reply if any questions would occur and if something was missing in the flat, he organised it within a couple of minutes. The flat has everything a family needs, lots of space to store for instance suitcases, clothes (walking wardrobe) as well as a bathroom connected to every room. You also have access to a swimming pool which is shared among 3 flats. We used it a couple of times and we had it for ourselves. Can very much recommend this place!

What a wonderful stay! The unit is very lovely, spacious, well kept and in a nice secure neighborhood. Not far from town, easy to get in and enjoy all Playa has to offer but still in a nice peaceful area. Cesar our host was fantastic! Anything we needed or any questions we had he was always available to help. We would highly recommend this unit and will definitely stay here on our next visit. Excellent value!
