This farmstay is worth going to for the river view alone. So peaceful and beautiful. The superb homemade food and the very friendly host are a nice extra. It was a pity our Hindi and Gujarati is almost non-existent, because we could have had some great conversations about farming. No real language problem though: Savas knows English very well and is only a phone call away. Thanks a lot for hosting us!!

This is a unique spot to stay. Take at least more than one night here. The room with river view is gorgeous, spacious. We loved watching birds, mongoose and even two jackals in the river bed, early morning. The place is about 20 minutes by riksja outside Sasan Gir. The owners will help you arrange any transport. We arrived by taxi, and were guided by phone - and even by the owners son on the motor- to the home stay. A good Indian breakfast was included. We enjoyed lunch and dinner mostly at the home stay for reasonable prices. Lovely to eat good vegetables! For English speaking guests like us, communication is sometimes difficult, but Savdas, if he is not around, will help immediately through Whatsapp (do bring your own sim card, there is no wifi). We really recommend this strongly for everyone who is not traveling by 5 star hotels only. Country side, sweet people, wholesome quiet... nothing can beat this experience! Thank you Savdas, brother and wife for this beautiful memory.

It was our first visit to Gir and all thanks to Mr. Savdas, Kanhabhai and his family for making our stay a memorable one. My words would never be enough to thank them for the hospitality extended during our stay. Mr. Savdas was kind enough to guide us on every aspect before we reached Hiran holidays and his younger brother Kanhabhai left no stone unturned in ensuring our stay was comfortable and wonderful. The location of Hiran Holidays is just perfect for your visit to Gir, away from the hustle bustle of city, Hiran Holidays is a perfect place to stay in the Lap of nature. And not to forget the food served was just amazing and gave us an opportunity to get a taste of local cusine, that too with everthing served, grown in their own farms organically.

It was a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings, just by the river side, amidst corp fields. The location is near to Devaliya Interpretation zone too. Savdas ji is a great host providing information to all the questions we had about the places near by and helping with details about Somnath too. It was really a great experience.
