Great hosts & cozy cabin.
The cabin was ADORABLE. Small but had everything it needed and so cozy! We were afraid it would be difficult to find off the highway but it was easy! Charlie and Andra were great hosts. I had shared our plans to take the SS Badger when I first booked and they proactively reached out to let me know when the Badger had unexpectedly shut down for the season!
I chose Charlie and Andrea's place for a short solo retreat, and it fit my needs nicely. I appreciated the proximity to Ludington, Manistee and several parks. The cabin I rented was a good size for a single person and had the necessary amenities to make my stay comfortable. They included personalized information about local restaurants and attractions, which was a nice touch. I didn't have reason to contact them during my stay, but based on communication prior to my arrival, I'm confident they would have been responsive and helpful. I would certainly consider staying here again should I find myself in the area!
The hubs and I rented this cabin to celebrate our last night of our almost two week MI anniversary trip. The cabin was very cozy and perfect for the two of us to snuggle in. Host left a guide with local recommendations and we enjoyed reading the guestbook of those who stayed before us. We would love to come back to this place if in the area again.
hosts are amazing! the cabin is sooo cute! the only thing was the occasional noise from 31. but you have to expect that w "highway 31 cabins"... so close to everything fun! we weren't sure what to do on Saturday, my husband likes to fish , and Andra recommended the wier. omgoodness we've gone to national parks ect. I've never seen anything like the trout and salmons there! also if you walk the beautiful tral you can fish! downtown manistee is just down the road w river walk and shops and historical beauty easy a top 10 west mi area . we loved it so much we want to book for Christmas or get a seasonal nearby... the people are so friendly there! we loved it so much... that for our anniversary dinner rather than a restaurant... we went to mijers and Ludington meat market and cooked over oak... bc even the fire pits have a grill attached and Andraand Charlie have all the utensils provided! it was romantic calm and beautiful 😍 highly recommend❤️
