So Beautiful! We had such a fantastic time here! It was very peaceful. The house was lovely and cozy. The view was amazing. We saw seals and I think we heard a whale at night when we were out by the fire. I can't think of a better way to ring in the New Year! We hope to be back someday! Thanks Michael! Andrea

Peaceful. That is the word that best sums up this place. Completely peaceful. Five of us rented this for a Thanksgiving get-away. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. The view. The space. Everything. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of room for cooking (and reheating, as it were). The living room was wonderfully cozy, especially with the fireplace there. Michael and Joy were very responsive, making sure we knew the ins-and-outs of both the place and Whidbey Island. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be back!

We stayed at Anchors Away for a week. The setting is beautiful, right on the water. Every day was different and lovely, whether sunny, cloudy or rainy. The home had the perfect feel as a relaxed vacation house - we felt settled and welcome. Whether walking on the beach, sitting on the deck, or watching the light change over the water from inside, every moment was a delight.

Beautiful location. Great patio for outdoor dining. Well stocked kitchen. Lot's of great information about the area. Our son enjoyed the kayak and row boat. We saw bald eagles, Cranes, an owl plus deer and seals. Our grandson picked blackberries for our icecream the cabin is comfortable throughout. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the outdoor grill. We had a great time!
