Awesome place. Better than I expected. Check in was fast and we were greeted by Ate Beng. She had a lot of local tips and knew a lot of people to take us around. Poctoy White Beach is just a tricycle ride away, and Buyabod Port to go island hopping is about an hour. The rooms and bathroom were clean and we were able to cook too. The space was awesome and so is the location. Def staying here next time we go back to Marinduque

This place is very close to the beach and a great halo halo place. It was perfect for my team..as we had a wedding in the area. I would stay here again when I visit this peaceful and beautiful island.

Oh wow where do I begin. From the ferry 6 hours before arriving the house I was guided thoroughly regarding how to get there and knowing Loi was living in another time zone, I suspect she didn’t even slept trying to help me navigate. Upon arriving at the house I was greeted with people that went above and beyond what was expected of a bnb. They were very knowledgeable of the area which made it really easy to plan day trips. 200% recommend.

Ma’am LoiGutz was very responsive right from the beginning. She was kind enough to offer the 3-storey guesthouse for our group though we initially planned to book the bungalow. She took into consideration that we were traveling with a senior citizen and young kids and would be more comfortable in the guest house. The place was very clean and Beverlie/Beng (the caretaker) was very helpful. The place is easy to find and accessible. It is a short drive from Poctoy White Beach and the Church. The market/town plaza/church are within walking distance for those who do not have any mobility issues. We stayed at the Rosales Guest House from Holy Saturday to Easter Monday. Unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy Poctoy White Beach because the place was just too crowded on Holy Saturday. There were no more available tables/cottages for a day trip. We did get to watch the “Pugutan” (Beheading of Longinus) at the town covered court and also attended the Easter Vigil Mass and Salubong. It was a unique experience for all of us. The Buyabod Port (jump-off point for island hopping to Maniwaya etc) is a 45-min drive from the guest house and Ma’am Loi referred us to our boatman. The key attractions (esp the Palad Sand Bar and Ungab Rock Formation) were also very crowded since we did our island hopping on Easter Sunday. Overall, we had a pleasurable stay and would recommend the guesthouse to visitors who want a home away from home in Marinduque. 😁
