Poul is a great host who made us feel at home. The house is very comfortable and the views and the environment are very great! We would come back again without any doubt!

Nous avons passé une semaine complète à 5 dans cette maison. Les + = La pièce principale est très agréable et confortable, lumineuse avec une vue imprenable sur le fjord . La cuisine est bien équipée pour cuisiner. A noter que le frigo est un minuscule frigo (qui chauffe et fait de la glace). L'agencement de l'entrée est pratique pour laisser ses affaires mouillées. Maintenant les points négatifs de ce logement = Le gros point noir est la minuscule salle de bain dans laquelle vous trouverez les wc = le carrelage tombe, le tuyau de douche est relié au lavabo. Et surtout, les toilettes ne fonctionnent pas correctement. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons signalé la fuite permanente et le mauvais fonctionnement. Pour parler clairement, vous ne pouvez pas toujours tirer la chasse d'eau quand vous en avez besoin !!! Important, nous n avons pas pu utiliser le bain nordique, apparemment, il faut prévenir que vous voulez l utiliser avant. Donc surtout, pensez à le faire.

Great location for exploring other parts of the islands. Very quiet spacious place. Always better weather than in other parts of the island. Could have a better shower and a cooker hood is needed for having 5 stars. Not easy to ventilate after cooking.

I stayed at Poul's house together with my wife and two friends and I think each one of us will remember this place for a very long time. We had a serene stay. Like lots of people mentioned the view is one-of-kind, there's something really peaceful about the port in Vestmanna and it never gets boring. The house is well maintained and well equipped and Poul is very responsive. I think there's two things to keep in mind if you decide to come to this place: this is a traditional house which dates back to days when people were shorter, so the ceiling on the ground floor is quite low, I'm 187cm (6'1) and had to constantly lean forward otherwise I would bump my head into the ceiling beams (thankfully the upper floor is newer and doesn't have this issue). The second thing: it can get stuffy inside and the windows don't fully open, you can only tilt them. In the end these are minor drawbacks compared to the things you get for such a reasonable price and I do highly recommend this place

Dejlig sted der passer fint til 6 personer. 3 fine værelser på førstesalen med gode senge. Kombineret sofastue og spiseplads i stueplan med fantastisk udsigt. Lidt lavt til loftet, egner sig ikke til personer over 180cm.
