This charming farmhouse is one of several guest homes on the beautifully restored 15th-century estate of Moulin de la Roque - Noves. Lovely garden views from the living, dining and kitchen and private Wisteria covered terrace and built in barbecue. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, WIFI, 3 bedrooms with private ensuite bathrooms . Walking distance to village, large pool (shared), adjacent forest with 350 hectares of walking trails. This charming 3-bedroom house on the estate of Moulin de La Roque Noves is the perfect escape for up to 6 guests. An excellent solution for three couples with three ensuite baths and toilets. Also for anyone who may hae mobility issues as there is one bedroom on the ground level with walk-in shower with bench and grab bars. The house and terrace are very private for you and your guests. The pool, parking, and common grounds are shared with other guests on the estate. The house comes with: Exterior: - Private Wisteria-covered stone terrace (facing south). - Built-in Barbecue. - Teak table and chairs Living space, kitchen and dining area - Cherrful provencal fabric adorns this comfortable living room with stone fireplace, flat screen iinternet and cable TV with english channels, and WIFI (high speed fiber optics). - Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, convection oven, gas cooktop, modern dishwasher, separated by an american island and serving bar. - Charming dining area with oak table and chairs. This is a fantastic property, even better than it looks in the pictures. The home, grounds, pool and everything are perfect and quintessential Provence. In less than a day, it felt like home, and coming back from Provence adventures was such a pleasure. This was our second stay in the area and we picked this home for its beauty and for the central location. Noves is perfectly located for visits to the Luberon to the east (Menerbes, Gordes, Rousillon, etc.), St. Remy, Les Baux des Provences, Cassis, etc. to the south and Avignon, Gigondas, Chateauneuf du Papes, etc. to the north. Gaby and Guy are tremendous hosts. They live on property and are extremely helpful with anything you need but are also completely unobtrusive. We loved this stay, and would absolutely select this home again on our next trip to Provence. Thank you for a wonderful time - we wish it could have been longer!

The experience we had at Gaby and Guy’s estate was unforgettable. The place is a gem, perfectly maintained and beautiful. We loved everything. Guy shared his passion for the Mill, spending a lot of his time to convey the history of the place. In this period of Covid, all measures, beyond our expectations, were taken. As a result we felt very comfortable and safe. The booklet provided in the house was really helpful to design our day trips. Really, we had a wonderful stay!
Stunning location and estate which is in excellent condition. Ideal for a family or a group of friends who want a relaxed, self catered base from which to explore Provence.
La beauté et la quiétude des lieux alliées à l’hospitalité de Gaby et Guy ont fait de ce séjour une semaine mémorable. Le domaine, intégralement restauré, est entretenu à la perfection. La maison que vous avions louée disposait d’un équipement haut de gamme, extrêmement complet, qui donne l’impression d’être chez soi. Last but not least, en ces temps de Covid, chaque maison du domaine est intégralement désinfectée par une entreprise spécialisée avant chaque arrivée.

Welcome to Moulin de la Roque (Mill by the Rock). A beautiful historical estate of 5 hectares (13 acres) located in the Provence Region in the South of France.
The estate goes back to the 15th century, where it was created as a Water Wheel Flour Mill. Each of the historic buildings that once served the Estate and Mill have now been carefully restored and renovated into beautiful cottages and vacation villas. Old world charm with modern conveniences.
The Estate comes with beautiful gardens, spacious pool and lounge area. sports and activity areas and is the perfect place to unwind.
The Estate is private and secluded but still very close to major sights. The nearby village called Noves is located only within a couple of minutes walking distance. Here you will find the real Provencal life as you pick up your bread, pastries and groceries from the small local markets each day. In the afternoons you can enjoy incredible sunsets from our cliff top as you take walks through the forest (over 350 hectares) perhaps gathering wild asparagus, fresh rosemary and thyme for your dinner.

Hi, We are Gaby and Guy, your hosts at Moulin de la Roque in Noves, France. Guy came from Belgium over 25 years ago searching for an Estate in France where he could relax, engage in agriculture and enjoy the Provencal lifestyle. He found such a place in Moulin de la Roque. A historic old Flour Mill and Estate (dating back as far a the 1500s), located in the countryside, near a small village but not far from Saint Remy and Avignon. It was nestled up to a Mountain, Rock Cliff and surrounded by a lovely River. There were fields of orchards and a small vineyard. The only problem was that most of it were ruins. Being an engineer by education, Guy had no hesitation to begin a complete renovation of the property which continues even today. Guy met Gabrielle (Gaby), an American, 15 years ago when she came as a guest to the Estate with some artists to paint. The Airline had lost her luggage for over 10 days. At that time she spoke little French so Guy helped her. Thanks to the Airline, she has never left! We are very passionate about our beautiful Estate in the Provence and love sharing it with guests.
