Julie and Ian’s farm house was so wonderful. It was very peaceful and calm. My family had many great memories at the Lazy J. The most wonderful moment of house was, we could be able to meet Alpacas every morning. I hope I could visit there again.

What a wonderful place to stay, peaceful, quiet in a farm setting. Julie and Ian are warm people and fantastic hosts. I highly recommend this to anyone considering a stay on the island!

Our family of four, two adults two small children, had a wonderful stay here. Ian and Julie were very kind and accommodating. Their farm is the perfect place to rest your head and enjoy the animals and ambiance while you visit Parksville, Coombs, and the surrounding area. We wish we had booked for two nights. This location is quiet and secluded but still only about 8 to 10 minutes away from everything, i.e. grocery stores liquor stores restaurants whatever you need. We spent the day in Coombs then checked in and spent a wonderful early evening seeing the animals fed followed by a relaxing night in the suite. There's way more to do in the Coombs area than we expected, we were quite busy the next day before returning to Victoria so we look forward to returning and would definitely like to stay here again when we do. Thanks again Ian and Julie.

Lovely, sunny evening on the farm. Host was most gracious and friendly, offering us the chance to poke around the back fields, join in on feeding the animals, meet the horse, and generally made us feel at ease and welcome. The bed was comfy and my 2 girls shared the sofa bed with no issue. Easy at access, close to the Country Market and a quick run to the ferry in the morning. Loved it.
