Paul and Carol have been wonderful hosts. The area is so beautiful and safe. The community has an HOA and we were there for an extended stay. Paul & Carol always forwarded us maintenance information well in advance so we were aware of what the HOA was coming around to do. They also sent us information about local events (parades, transportation etc) so we could participate. Our hosts were very easily reachable, responded quickly and always very kind and helpful! Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone!

We spent a month in this gorgeous house and we fell in love with it. The pictures don’t show how beautiful this place is. It’s a very big 3 bedroom condo on second floor with a high ceiling and two balconies. The community located on the 5 miles long Coronado cays, which is itself a rare to find. We can see the ocean from both side of the house, along with the mountains on the horizon. The front balcony is right above the marina, where the owners keep their boats and yachts. So you can imagine the picture when you sit in the sitting room, very peaceful and beautiful. The master room has doors open to the front balcony too, with a large shower. Everything else in the house is in good condition, given the fact that this is a newly bought and remodeled house. The kitchen is equipped with everything we need, and the wash machine and dryer are huge. Bedding is all new, even the vacuum cleaner is the high end brand. We feel like living in our own home, not every Airbnb give us this feeling. Our owner Paul and Carol are kind, patient and humble people. They have a sincere attitude that make the communication smooth and fun. This is their first time on Airbnb, they wanted to make everything perfect for us,. Apparently they achieved it and we appreciate it very much. We got all the information we needed their, talked to neighbors everyday, walked or ran on the long and wide beach 5 minuets away or just wondered around the community. The downtown Coronado is 5 to 10 minuets by driving. This is one of the most historical area in San Diego. Don’t miss the walking tour of historical Coronado if you have time. And the famous Del hotel remains the biggest wooden building on Pacific coast and is a must visit. Biking by along the cats and island Coronado neighborhood is also our favorite activity, so many beautiful houses to admire. Ferry to downtown San Diego is a nice area to hangout, weddings on the lawn is popular for local people. Driving to downtown or other parts of San Diego is smooth, never tragic on the bridge cross the ocean. We think this is a ideal place to stay if you want to have a peaceful and comfortable vacation stay in San Diego. Highly recommend.
