We had a wonderful time during our stay. John, the host was responsive when we first arrived, and if any issues arose. The home was as described in the description. We were especially appreciative of the clear instructions laid out for us and the well-equipped kitchen. This was the perfect place to decompress. We saw several deer and cows, which was priceless!

Excellent stay for the Memorial Day weekend and travelling from Ontario. I will certainly keep this unit and owner in mind for future trips as I frequent the area many times during the year. Price is definitely reasonable and value for money. Only thing I would recommend to the owner is to include and iron for clothing. That’s the only recommendation I could think of. Well done owners and thank you. This is what every bnb should aspire too.

John and Carol's place is amazing! The view is stunning- we could see Fall foliage for miles and deer grazing in the fields at dawn and dusk. The AirBnB was well-equipped for cooking and had lots of nice extras for a comfortable night's sleep (extra blankets, a white noise machine, etc). There were very clear instructions for everything and a big collection of pamphlets for events and attractions in the area. Easily one of the best AirBnBs I have ever stayed at! Others have commented about the lack of wifi and I can also report that I had cell service with T-mobile! Also, John had a wifi hotspot that he brought to us so we got by just fine- my partner had a morning video call for work and it worked perfectly. A quick side note for check-in: our GPS misled us a bit once we got onto the street the house was on. Had we simply followed the increasing address numbers on people's mailboxes, we would have been just fine. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant getaway and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
