I had always dreamed of living on a farm and I finally fulfilled my dream by spending a week in Maria’s castle. There, you will meet all the animals that live together in a natural environment and you will eat dishes prepared by Maria from ingredients from the farm. I must say that my experience was extraordinary for a young Frenchman who grew up in a city. I had the chance to know the Romanian countryside. In addition, even if my level of Romanian was almost zero, we managed to have interesting conversations thanks to the patience and curiosity of everyone. In conclusion, be ready to live an original but above all human experience at the castle Nicolici!

We don't even know where to start, our stay was amazing. we caught ourselves with the word "wow" stuck on repeat in our heads, you will just keep getting surprised. firstly if you read the description and aren't hooked yet, then just know that you are getting the nicest host that you'll have a hard time saying goodbye too and the opportunity to get cooked the most delicious meals "the traditional way". we were four guys staying there and are for sure coming back. we can't recommend this place enough of our two months trip nothing compared to this. thanks for the must amazing stay. excellente destination pour les fans de nature, d'animaux et de bonne humeur. si vous êtes en revanche, talon aiguille et veste à carreaux, passez tout de suite votre chemin. ce n'est pas pour vous. j'ai aimé cet endroit car il est authentique. Maria est une femme très généreuse et gentille qui s'occupera de vous comme personne. j'ai mangé comme un ogre tant elle cuisine bien. Alice est aux petits soins et sait vous mettre à l'aise. enfin Ron a pris le temps de me faire visiter la demeure et la ferme en parlant bien sûr de tout et de rien en dégustant une bière locale. cet endroit est parfait pour découvrir les animaux de la ferme et pour pouvoir les toucher. cochons, poules, canards, chevres, moutons ou chevaux. tout est là pour vous ravir.

We had a fantastic time staying on the farm for 4 days as a family (mum, dad, a 3yr old and a 3 month old!). It is definitely not your usual AirbnB stay. This is an experience. You are living with the family on a working farm in an old mansion that has only been partially renovated. Be prepared to share a bathroom, for there to be no locks on the doors, for plenty of dust and dirt outside and animals everywhere! The bedrooms are basic but very clean and practical. The beds were comfortable. The showers were hot. Maria is very welcoming and makes amazing food. We were also lucky enough to be there at the same time as her daughter Alice and family - this was lovely as our kids could play together. Our 3 year old had the time of his life! Picking apples from the trees, feeding the pigs chestnuts, watching the goats get milked and just running around! We paddled in the nearby river and went for a couple of local walks but really just enjoyed hanging out.

Logement dans une ferme en partie réhabilitée. Animaux en sémi-liberté . Expérience authentique et accueil aux petits soins de Marie. Dîner et petit déjeuner préparés avec beaucoup d'attention.Marie est une personne adorable.
