Great location for snowmobiling. Easy access to trails and gas. parking was great too! House was super comfortable for the 6 of us. Spacious and very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again. Had a few issues, but David responded quickly with solutions.

The farm worked well for a visit to our hometown and the chance to spend time with extended family in the area. The grounds are beautiful, the house was very comfortable for those of us that stayed there, and for the ones who visited over the few days we were there. There were some maintenance things that need to be done but David let us know about them and they did not interfere with our visit. Everyone that visited commented on how nice the house was, in fact some of my cousins knew the family that lived there years ago. The size of the house and multiple seating areas made it a great place to catch up with family we hadn't seen in a long time. The working Juke Box was an extra bonus, a couple of people even got a dance or two in!

This was mostly a good experience, pleasant house and a good location. We didn’t have sheets the first night for one of the beds, but this was resolved the next day. My only complaint was that we were locked out of one of the bedrooms we had been promised. When we inquired, the host told us that the one we were missing was “under construction” and that there were plenty of beds so we should be fine, as if it didn’t matter which body was where. Unfortunately, this was not true for our group as we were there with my elderly mother and another family member recovering from a recent illness. Finally, the bathtub faucet ran constantly in the upstairs bathroom. Size was good and setting was lovely. Probably the best one can do in Houlton.

David is a great host, was very responsive when any issues arose. The house is older and may need some maintenance. We were unable to use the bunk bed room which is why the overall stay was a 3/5.
