This was an awesome experience. Go all in for dinner and breakfast and a tea ceremony. The views are beautiful and it was very quiet and peaceful. The entire staff was super friendly and hospitable.

The hosts were very welcoming, as others agree. Steady Wifi access is limited to the lobby. You'll have to sit right by the window to barely grab Wifi access in the guest room. Body soap is provided, but there is no hand soap. Also, shampoo is not included; we asked for a refill for an almost-empty shampoo bottle in the bathroom, but the host said it was a "courtesy" from a former guest, and explained that they do not provide shampoo as a standard service. The interior of the guest room is a renovation of a so-called "love hotel." I surmise it is futile to fight the aging structure, but nevertheless, mildew odor prevails the inside of the building, and I found it rather difficult to sleep. Futon and blankets are provided generously, but bed sheeting is not supplied. Lots of insects in the building, and the windows lack insect screens. Last-minute availability (and expeditious reply) is an advantage, but I'm sorry to say it's not worth the price if you have other options.

Great stay! We were helped by a lovely lady who made sure we were all comfortable and set. The breakfast was amazing and so filling. We were ready to head out again.
